Treasure Cay, Out Islands, Bahamas
Good morning we have woken up to blue sky's and sunshine the storm has passed yahoo. Now just because we sunshine does not really mean it's hot, we are expecting 20c today which is fine.

The boys might go out fishing this morning and we will head into town for a walk and then bring back some supplies .

The plan later today is to move over to Treasure Cay http://treasurecay.com/marina/ it looks like a very nice place for Julie and Wayne to spend their last few days of their vacation.

+++++++++++++++++++++

Julie and I enjoyed a leisurely morning in town, enjoyed a latte at the coffee shop sitting in the sunshine it was perfect. From there we made our way to the grocery store for a few provisions and back to the boat. The boys fishing trip was cancelled due to the large swells on the outside 10 to 12 footers is not a fun trip. We buttoned up the boat and off we went for a slow cruise over to Treasure Cay the air and water was cool so no swimming along the way but it was so nice to have sunshine the whole day! As we approach the marina we notice right away how deserted it was it is such a low season right now the marina is huge but almost empty with only a few tourist boats scattered about .

The docking was trick it is a shorter fixed dock so we have lassos' for the port and starboard bow plus several other lines both Stern and Mid...so the 1st Mate will be hopping if we came here alone that I will remember. Once secured the boys start to clean off all the spray from our salty crossing and Julie and I head to the office to register and explore. There are 2 bar / grill restaurants by the pool and a larger restaurant at the back which is only open on the weekends. A couple of grocery stores one which is rather large and is a great provisioning spot I will note that if we come back here. Right across the street is the beach access and Coco Beach Bar it was huge and really great we made our way over there with the boys for a drink later in the afternoon. The beach is huge if the weather was better you could easily enjoy a day or 2 lying there but for this trip it will serves as a good long walk tomorrow.

Getting back to the resort and marina I have to talk about the small bakery we found it's been there and owned by the same family for 27 years, Flo's Bakery . Amy the daughter was preparing cinnamon buns for tomorrow morning she had them rolled out on a huge board it was the longest thickest roll of buns I've ever seen! Her father Captain 40 was sitting in the bakery eating his dinner of fish and salad and was eager to chat it was a wonderful place which we are excited to visit in the morning :-)

The rest of the "resort" I have to say is really old, it was beautiful back in the day when their website was created... there are many condo type units scattered around but everything here is pretty beaten up...I feel it would be a fun place with sunshine and lots of people.

Dinner was amazing again on board we started with Edamame at the beach bar then I made caramelized apples over brie on the boat followed by pizza, it was delicious. The sunset was glorious really cool clouds lots of photo opportunities. Entertainment for the evening was a movie the fist to drop was Wayne followed by Bryan what a wild bunch we are hehe...Julie and watched to the end way to go girls!
