At last a glorious morning of sunshine,although we were up late due to taking Sacha to the airport at 2 in the morning so we all had a swim in the pool. It started to cloud over so after some shopping we started to prepare the paperwork for our Chinese visas,so much paperwork after filling in the 4 page application form found we couldn't save it. Luckily we had saved our detailed itinerary and hotel bookings.An early visit to Kamil's will be needed to print out all the information for us to accompany the application for Monday's visit to the Chinese embassy.We need them by Saturday or else we'll have to get them in Delhi which doesn't bear thinking about.
On a brighter note we went to see a broadcast of Carmen from the Met which was great fun but as we came out of the cinema rain was falling and is likely to tomorrow . Upon arriving back we had an email from Sacha to say he had landed in Edinburgh( a 24 hour journey). Let's hope he recovers overnight ready to start work on Sunday morning.
