The day started so well with plenty of sunshine so we spent a lovely hour or two in the jacuzzi but after lunch the cloud thickened and by tea time the heavens opened and carried on all night. There was a brief hiatus at sundown so we were able to share a glass of wine with Agnes to say goodbye to her on the terrace instead of at the bay hotel on the beach as we had hoped.
