The day started windy and overcast but the sea seemed calmer. We still have a cyclone level 2 as it doesn't appear to be moving very fast but might veer towards Mauritius still. The intensity has weakened a little.Lawn mowers can be heard in neighbouring gardens so the locals must think the threat is over. Sacha took a swim and Sebastian a quick dip in the jacuzzi before lunch during which the cyclone warning was lifted.Hooray! Of course it promptly rained and gusts of wind continued to blow but the sun did come out eventually. We were able to walk down to the restaurant in the evening and back amidst a break in the showers.
