Buenos Aires, Argentina
We had booked our executive cama (super reclining) bus seats for our 14 hours jourrney from Mendoza to BA and we were not dissapointed the seats were huge and they reclined pretty good with wee footrests too. We set off and around 6pm got served some cakes and tea - we had asked when booking if dinner and breakfast was included and she said yes but if that was dinner we were done for cause we were starving !!!

In-bus entertainment
Next up was Bingo!! He handed us a gamecard and we though woo hoo we know the numbers in spanish so we can play!! He got on the mic and spoke for about 10 mins then we heard some numbers but he was ratting them out so fast we couldn't keep up - we gave up and the women in front won a bottle of wine .

Next up was the movie, the bus actually had bits to plug in your earphones and the movie started they are normally in english but no this one was dubbed in spanish so that was that - instead we stuck our heads in our learn spanish iphone apps we have in a bid to learn some lingo.

I had gave up hoping for dinner when at 2210 the bus stopped people got off and on and soon as we set off dinner was upon us - they eat so late here its crazy. We got a lasagne and cake and of course cheese and parma ham its all they eat here, we also got 2 large cups of red wine so after finally getting fed and some nice wine we went to sleep. We actually got a decent night sleep thanks to the bus being quiet and the big comfy chairs.

Buenos Aires
So we had met so many people who kept warning us to be careful not to get mugged especially at bus/train stations so here we were half asleep still at the HUGE bus station now trying to look for the metro or the local bus to get us to our hostel - we wandered for ages and tried to ask in our shitty spanish where they were but although we can ask the question when they answer we haven't a clue what they say . So shitting ourselves and somehow unable to find the tube we gave up and stood in the taxi line. Our kamikaze taxi driver was clearly not in a good mood driving crazily through traffic honking on the horn constantly it was like being back in india haha. We arrived at the hostel delighted with ourselves we were still intact and still had all our belongings.

The hostel then proceeds to tell us that Creamfields the festival we are going to is in THE worst are of BA its actually a favela (shanty town) and its really unsafe, they also said of someone that had buzzed to get in the hostel had been some imposter and basically stole someones bag as they were checking in!! By the time we had checked into our "dorm bed" we didnt want to go outside haha.

So we are in dorms now - the price of rooms are soo much more expensive here so after 6 months of luckily being able to stay in private rooms its time to slum it with the others!! We are in an 8 bed dorm tonight fingers crossed I get some sleep its ok for Marc he would sleep through anything haha
