We have slowed down our travel pace thankfully and having taken a day or two to recover from Creamfields we had done not a lot but sleep, eat and laze about. We moved back into our 8 bed dorm as we just cannot afford private rooms here which totally sucks as this is the first time since we started travelling that we have had to do it but we save so much more and on checking the funds recently its definitely wise if we wanna actually finish this trip haha!!  

Argentina has proved to be way more expensive than we thought, the cost of buses to get around is the biggest problem - it doesnt help that we have decided to travel the entire length of the country to go see Paul Oakenfold in Ushuaia but hey it will be worth it .

Its all about the football
So without a doubt football is huge in this country - the day we arrived in BA there was a bit Argentina game on and we could have went with the hostel but they checked and the tickets were sold out which was a bummer but prob good cause they were £50 each.

Anyway the hostel does a tour of the Boca Juniors stadium so we headed out for that, we went on the local bus where you need the exact change - this proved to be entertaining it seems if you wait too long the bus certainly wont and it just goes without you haha - too funny a bunch of stupid tourists trying to get on a public bus is always gonna be interesting needless to say we missed the first bus!!

The stadium itself is right in the middle of La Boca neighbourhood and its capacity is 50,000 - there are no memberships available now as the waiting list is so huge, the problem is they cannot extend the capacity anymore due to its neighbourhood location. The stadium has standing areas that look utterly mental - on ground level behind the goals apparently when they score a goal they all come rushing down the stairs - eeeeeeeek squash tastic !!

The tour was great and we hope to be able to time it when a game is on when we come back to Buenos Aires :-)  

La Boca neighbourhood
After the stadium tour we went for a walk around La Boca neighbourhood which is famous for its colourful buildings, we were all starving so the hostel guy took us to a local place for some food - they have a "Choripan sandwich" here that they eat all the time so we tried this its basically a chorizo type sausage it was delicious - we had a wee steak sandwich too cause it was so cheap mmmm

This area is very touristy you walk down one street the our hostel guy said ok lets walk back and go the other way which I though weird - but basically we found out that the criminals pay off the police to allow them to rob tourists in one particular street the same policy applies to selling drugs etc crazy old world !!

We wandered for a bit looking at all the pretty coloured houses, which are actually a real neighbourhood not just for show.

So only half of us got on the bus back as the bus decided it was waiting no more and when I was half on it he shut the door literally on me and the people behind us didnt get on - thankfully Marc was on the bus too hehe - we found our way off no problem thankfully as the tour guy was left behind !!
