Haircut. Fruit. Internet problems.

La Peñita de Jaltomba, Nayarit, Mexico

Another humid day spent in front of the fan, reading.

Landlord went to a friend to get a modem. They came back and worked on getting it set up for a couple hours. They finally got it working, but it's a lot slower than before. Have to wait a week for the cable company to come out to replace theirs (maybe longer, depending on how many the storm burned out).

I decided to go into town, mainly to get fruit. My landlord gave me a ride and dropped me off where I could get a cheap haircut. Price was $3 and I gave $1.25 tip.

Felt like having pizza, so I had a couple slices, $1 ea, and a12 oz Coke for $0.65.

I went to the fruit stand, picked up a honeydew melon, green grapes, and 2 apples for $16 - no bargains here.

On the way back, I went by the river: all the trees and roots had been cleared away. They don't waste any time getting the job done when it's an emergency situation, otherwise it's mañana.
I wonder how all the affected people are doing. Haven't heard anything, so I guess they're being situated.

Got back. Did some reading. Now I'm trying to get some blogging done, but the internet is still very slow. Guess I'll just do what I can for now, and get it finished later.

Hours later. Many frustrations. Getting nowhere. Wait...wait...wait...still no connection.

Took a sunset pic, but can't get it to load up.

Read. Go to bed.
