Boat today.

Keswick, England, United Kingdom
Yesterday the train, today the boat. Ullswater is described as England's Lake Lucerne. The boats are old converted steam ships, one built in 1877. John had good look and assured us it was still sea worthy! Henry the dog is getting better at getting on and off boats, was not keen at first, and now just lies there looking bored after being helped up and down the stairs. Hills around Ullswater are very impressive, although no snow!

Got off at Howtown Pier and hiked around part of the the lakeshore, where Hannah the dog had a swim . Then hiked around Hallin Fell, about 6 km. Boat back to Pooley Bridge and home via Keswick shops.
