A decent hike

Longhoughton, Eastern Valleys, United Kingdom
The idea of the 2 weeks in the north of England was lots of long walks with the family and the dogs, balanced by pub lunches along the way. Had to start it right, so walked with Theresa, and the dogs Hannah and Henry along the costal footpath to Craster for pub lunch of fresh crab sandwiches, then walked to Dunstanburgh Castle and back, ( a stunning monument on the headland, visible for miles) then car home, nearly 14 km in all.

Fabulous coastal scenery, rain held off most of the day, great exercise . Slept well!!!
