Nunjack Cay, Hope Town, Bahamas
Good morning from Coco Bay / Green Turtle Cay

I'm up early enjoying my favorite time of the day sunrise! It is so calm today all I hear is the odd fish jumping and the roosters walking up on the Island so peaceful and calm .

Today for me will start with a long paddle board on this glassy water, then breakfast :-) We are going to cruise over to another snorkel spot then on to a new anchorage taking full advantage of this calm hot weather.

Update later ++++++

Okay folks there were so many amazing things in our day, yes I started with a nice long paddle on flat waters. Patti decided to give it a try and she did great started on her knees and then managed to stand and paddle around that was Patti's first 1st for the day. After a great breakfast we slowly cruised around looking for a protected bay for the night we found one and made note to come back after our dive / snorkel of the day off of Manjack Cay it was great lots of wonderful coral and fish.

Once back and anchored in the bay, Patti decided to try diving. We loaded the diving gear into the dingy and went into the beach where Bryan gave Patti all the how to's of diving, for a fist time diver it can be easier to start from the beach . Patti did an amazing job so brave what an experience; Patti's second 1st of the day. I paddled into the shore to watch and we quickly realized that this beach was a bug zone so I went back to the boat for the Deet cream OMG there were thousands of little bitting critters.

After the dive a walk along the beach to find some new shells for our basket. As we walked to the end of the beach we noticed nurse shark swimming happily along the shore line, then a sting ray, then many sting rays and a baby lemon shark. I couldn't believe how friendly the sting rays were they came right up to us and we could pet them, they are rather slimy feeling. So that was Patti's third 1st of the day it was a jammed packed stimulated day for us all...and to finish off the 1st's for the day was a fresh lime margarita in the Bahamas :-)

Dinner was caesar salad and beef bolognese pasta delicious I have to say. One last note on the bugs man they are so bad thank goodness we had a fly sticky strip we managed to snag thousands of them.

Movie of the night was RED it was a wonderful day.
