Marsh Harbour, Out Islands, Bahamas
Good morning today marks my 54th entry into this blog, we have been floating around a very long time!

This is our last day with our crew of 6, it is cloudy and sunny which is the story around these waters of late . Warm which is lovely so the odd cloud just makes it great.

We are rustling up some breakfast and the plan is to take the tanks in for a fill then push off the dock to get to Marsh Harbour.

We might get a snorkel in but it will depend on the winds sadly there is a lot of wind in the forecast for the next week so it will be tough to get Barb and Mike but you never know. We were given a gift of some fresh wahoo from Captain Jeff our dock neighbour so tonight we will enjoy a seafood feast for Doug and Patti's last night aboard El Nido.

The morning started with a walk to Tahiti beach it is located 1.5 km from the marina a beautiful walk and gorgeous beach. This sand bar has water on both sides, at low tide people bring their dingy's over and enjoy the sand and views. The boys went into town to fill the tanks with air so we are ready if the winds could just settle down .

We omitted the snorkeling / diving at Sandy Cay the swells were just too bit so the Captain said we should abort that idea. Next stop Lynyard Cay a small basically deserted Island which is apparently a bird sanctuary but honestly I did not see many birds. This Island we walked around with Marjorie and Craig it is very narrow and on the Atlantic side there are fields of jagged sand stone rocks...I wouldn't want to fall on them!

Our docking back at Marsh Harbour was smooth and uneventful we are getting to know the marinas which helps this was Doug's last 1st mate duties of the trip. We had a relaxing late afternoon on board and enjoyed a tasty dinner, we all agree that wahoo is great eating.

The evening ended with a game of Things and early to bed. Doug and Patti leave very early in the morning it was a great adventure the last 2 weeks with them on board, thanks for the memories you two we will miss you!
