It's our last day in Perth today and so it's the exciting task of washing, packing and getting ready To move on to morrow. The weather is lovely so the balcony is a very welcome break. Virtually packed and ready to leave we could enjoy our last activity.
This afternoon we went over to Shelley to meet up with the family, weren't sure who would be there so it was going to be a lovely surprise any way. Arriving at Mary and Martin's it was good to catch up with Peter and Emma, a much bigger and more chatty Jethro and a bigger but more quiet Eleanor. David and Catrina then arrived with Harrison and Hannah; both much more grown up now and with beautiful manners. We were also pleased to meet Claire and Darryl. It's nice to know we have some family even if they live on the other side of the world.
There was a lot of chatting, lots of drinking and a lovely meal. What a way to end our stay in Perth. Mary had made her famous trifle and we discovered that it was Harrison's birthday so there was cake too. A really fun evening and exactly three years to the day since we were there before. Wonder if we'll make it back in another three years? It would be great to think so!
Leaving was difficult as always but we hope that we may meet up with Claire and Darryl on our trip south.
Too busy chatting, we discovered that we had not taken any photos this time which was rather a shame. Still there's always next time?!?!
