Albany exploration!

Albany, Western Australia, Australia
Having rushed to get here yesterday we had an appointment with the electrician to fix the RV, so back to the caravan centre nice and early, sadly the guy was not so punctual and we had a long wait. The staff at the centre were really go and even did some of the preparation work for him. We were quite worried to hear that the RV could have caught fire because of this fault - scary.
Eventually RV was fixed and we could resume our holiday!
Dirk was interested in a walk on Middleton beach so that became our first destination . The beach was really lovely and there was a great walk along the top with information boards about Charles Darwins visit here and his research with' the Beagle'. A very pleasant and informative walk.
We were close to the town of Albany so that was our destination for the afternoon. Albany is Emma's home town and Peter was not too complimentary about it! We just had to see for ourselves.
It's actually quite a nice little town with some really interesting architecture and wall art. There is a modern shopping area too but we did not explore there!
An interesting afternoon stroll.
