This morning we set off in the purple G Adventures bus through the lush Barossa countryside past picturesque villages and farms to the Gorge Wildlife Park in the appropriately named Cudlee Creek. There we were able to cuddle a koala,kangaroos,wallabies and other animals to our hearts desire. It was a wonderful experience. In the afternoon we visited a local chocolate factory and artisanal cheese shop where we could sample their fine produce. This town is where Penfolds is based,200 yards from our hotel and room service has a selection of their wines available.....if only we had won the lottery!
