Welcome aboard S/V Pas de Deux for our exciting journey to fulfill a lifetime dream of sailing the open waters. Life is too short to linger in just one place!

On December 8, 2006 we settled the final documents that transferred to us the ownership of a Catana 471 47-ft length sailing catamaran. It was the exciting culmination of a search for a vessel that would safely take us forward on a venture of lifelong learning throughout the open waters and tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay and further into the Atlantic Ocean to reach destinations long only dreamed about. As Mark Twain wrote, "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." We're excited to have this venue to share our experiences with you!
